Sustain YSI Campaign 2009-10

YSI has received a $125,000 Challenge Grant to encourage individual donations from the community. DONATE NOW and your gift will be matched, dollar for dollar, up to $125,000.

As a nonprofit organization, YSI depends on a diverse revenue stream, including charitable donations and earned income from camps and other programs, to enable us to help meet a critical need for science education in our community.

Last school year, more than 100,000 students failed science in Silicon Valley. That's why your donation to YSI is more important than ever. Each year, YSI engages 30,000 local children in science using hands-on, nature-based lessons that correlate directly to State standards. Your donation helps YSI fill the gap in science education by inspiring an enthusiasm for science and a love of learning.

Last year, you saved us. Now, we need your continued support to sustain us. I hope we can count on your generous donation to help us meet our fundraising goal this fiscal year.

Thank you for your on-going support of YSI.

YSI Programs Reinforce Classroom Learning!

Thank you for the wonderful experience on Monday in "Roots, Shoots, Seeds and Leaves." The students were completely engaged in every activity. I'm so thrilled that they got to have such a valuable presentation that reinforced, and extended, the learning that they received in class.
